Applications close 30 April 2012, 5.00pm AEST
Step 1: To be eligible you need to register through our website. Posted or faxed applications are not accepted.
Step 2: Your application will be acknowledged by email. Incomplete applications may not be considered.
Step 3: If you progress to the next stage, we will conduct a 15-20 minute phone interview with you regarding a few assessment and timing details, and to learn a little more about you.
Step 4: You will then be invited to attend one or more structured behavioural interviews, which can take up to one hour each. Before your interview, we will talk to you about your interviewers, the interview process and location, and any special needs you may have.
Step 5: In the interview itself, you will be asked for examples that demonstrate your knowledge, skills and experiences. This is also a great chance for you to find out more about Thiess and the potential role.
Step 6: For some roles, further assessment such as psychometric testing or pre-employment medicals may be necessary. We'll let you know more at the interview stage and want you to feel free to talk to the recruiter if you are unclear about anything.
Step 7: The next step is checking references you have provided in your application. Professional referees will usually be previous supervisors or managers. Please let us know if they may be contacted.
Step 8: If successful, you will be made a verbal offer explaining in detail the package being offered. If you verbally accept the offer, you will receive a formal letter of appointment. This is to be signed and returned to us to confirm your employment.
